Late in 1988 Katherina was invited to exhibit at the world renowned Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, the event ultimately opening in 1989 on 12 January. This exhibition was arranged by fellow artist George O’Neill, Jr, whose excellent (copyrighted) photographs well document the event.
The Art/World newspaper records this 1989 first event for Katherina south of the 49th parallel.
